Data protection

The protection of your personal data is important to us, and we take it seriously. Therefore, we comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal data and data security.

In the following, we inform you about the information we may collect, how we process it, and to whom we may provide it. The following statement gives you an overview of how we ensure this protection and what type of data is collected for what purpose.

Purpose of data collection, processing, or use of personal data

We generally do not collect personal data through our website. Personal data (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses) is only collected if you voluntarily provide such data (e.g., through registration, filling out a contact form or a newsletter form) or if the applicable data protection laws allow it.

Personal data provided by you is generally used to process your inquiries, orders, or contracts. To maintain the customer relationship with you, we may store and process personal data in other electronic data processing systems. We may also transfer your data to our subsidiaries or companies in which we have a controlling interest through a capital participation to better address your concerns. We may use your personal data to inform you about our offers or offers from companies in which we are involved, if they may be useful for your business activities.

Your personal data may also be used if required by laws or regulatory or judicial orders to establish or protect legal claims or to defend against claims, or to prevent illegal activities, such as intentional attacks on our IT systems. No transfer to third countries is planned.

Of course, we respect your request if you do not want us to use your personal data to maintain our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing measures and market research). Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or disclosed to third parties, except to companies in which we have a direct interest.
